Join us!\nWe are seeking an accomplished Senior Java Developer to deliver high-quality technology solutions in the identity and authentication domain. This individual contributor will work with limited supervision, translate business and security requirements into sound technical designs, and own delivery from requirements through production support. The successful candidate brings deep Java engineering experience, secure development discipline, strong problem-solving skills, and a record of delivering complex software outcomes in an Agile and DevOps environment\nResponsibilities\nOwn the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of secure Java-based features and services.\nTranslate product, business, security, and operational requirements into maintainable solution designs aligned with enterprise architecture and engineering standards.\nDesign and implement robust REST APIs and microservices using Java and the Spring ecosystem.\nApply secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle and support remediation of vulnerabilities and common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs).\nDeliver solutions that meet acceptance criteria while actively managing reliability, maintainability, performance, and technical debt.\nParticipate in work breakdown, estimation, technical design reviews, peer code reviews, testing strategy, release planning, and delivery execution.\nProvide technical leadership for large or complex efforts, including platform upgrades, new capability deployments, and production-readiness activities.\nInvestigate production issues, coordinate technical response, perform root-cause analysis, and drive durable corrective actions.\nSupport technology controls, compliance activities, evidence collection, and audit requests related to assigned applications and services.\nMentor engineers, share reusable practices, and identify skill, role, or delivery risks with the Technology Manager.\nRequired Qualifications\n· 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including delivery of large-scale Java applications across multiple implementations.\n· Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.\n· Demonstrated expertise in object-oriented design, common design and architectural patterns, clean code, automated testing, and code quality practices.\n· Experience with relational databases, SQL, stored procedures, and Oracle database replication or performance tuning.\n· Experience developing and operating applications in Unix or Linux environments.\n· Experience with containerized platforms and technologies such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.\n· Experience with CI/CD and engineering toolchains such as Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.\n· Experience building solutions with cloud services and applying cloud security principles.\n· Working knowledge of application security vulnerability remediation, secure software development practices, and CVE management.\n· Ability to lead complex technical work, make sound engineering decisions, and deliver in a highly visible, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.\n· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, written communication, and verbal communication skills.\nDesired Qualifications\n· Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n· Working knowledge of digital credentials, mobile driver licenses, and digital wallet ecosystems.\n· Experience integrating generative AI or large language models into Java applications, including Model Context Protocol (MCP), prompt design, context management, and vector databases.\n· Experience with IAM platforms such as PingOne, PingFederate, HYPR, Okta, or ForgeRock.\n· Experience with UI development using React or a comparable modern framework.\n· Exposure to mobile application development and mobile security considerations.\n· Deep experience with application security vulnerability remediation in regulated or high-assurance environments.\nRequired Skills\n1.
