You’ll be responsible for the infrastructure that enables Data Scientists and Engineers to deploy cutting-edge AI solutions securely and reliably. Your work will directly reduce operational friction, improve Azure security posture, and ensure platforms meet ITSec and IT Audit requirements. By automating infrastructure, implementing security best practices, and maintaining high availability, you’ll enable the entire Innovation & AI Office to move faster while staying compliant—turning infrastructure from a bottleneck into a competitive advantage.\n\nGeneral duties:\n\nProvision, monitor, and maintain Azure infrastructure for ML and AI platforms, ensuring high availability and meeting agreed Service Level Objectives.\n\nEstablish and maintain fully auditable and replicable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approaches with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.\n\nImprove and maintain Azure security score in accordance with Cloud team requirements; implement security best practices and controls.\n\nPerform regular patching of infrastructure services to meet ITSec and IT Audit requirements; maintain patch management processes and documentation.\n\nManage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters for ML model serving and AI agent deployment.\n\nImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and application delivery.\n\nMonitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.\n\nCollaborate with Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers to optimize platform reliability, performance, and cost.\n\nParticipate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical platform services.\n\nEnsure compliance with Change Management processes; plan and execute changes on time with minimal disruption.\n\nRequirements:\n\nMust have:\n\n3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles.\n\nExperience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).\n\nKnowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles.\n\nExperience with Kubernetes or container orchestration.\n\nSolid knowledge of Linux systems administration and scripting.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\n\nFluent English, both written and verbal.\n\nNice to have:\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Computing (VMs, App Services), Networking (VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers), Storage, and Security services.\n\nProven experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.\n\nExperience managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or OpenShift clusters.\n\nUnderstanding of CI/CD principles and tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).\n\nScripting skills in Bash or Python.\n\nExperience with monitoring and logging solutions (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar).\n\nUnderstanding of security best practices, compliance requirements, and audit processes.\n\nAbility to work in on-call rotations and handle production incidents.\n\nGood communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.\n\nExperience with ML/AI platform infrastructure or MLOps tooling (MLflow, Kubeflow).\n\nKnowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices.\n\nExperience in banking, fintech, or highly regulated industries.\n\nFamiliarity with Azure security and compliance frameworks.\n\nExperience with containerization and Docker.\n\nUnderstanding of networking concepts and service mesh architectures.\n\nWhat we offer to you:\n\nExcellent opportunities for professional and career development in one of Bulgaria’s leading banks;\n\nFood vouchers in the amount of 102.26 EUR per month;\n\n25 paid holiday leave;\n\nAdditional Health Insurance;\n\nFavorable conditions for housing and mortgage lending, as well as for bank products and services;\n\nAnnual bonus scheme depending on the achieved results;\n\nPreferential conditions for Multisport / CoolFit card;\n\nGreat location;\n\nDiscounts in various companies;\n\nProfessional trainings for specific knowledge and skills (internal academies);\n\nRefer a Friend Bonus.\n\nIf you are challenged by this opportunity, we would be glad to review your application.
