The candidate should have strong expertise in RPG, CL, DB2/400, SQL/400, QUERY/400, and AS/400 database structures.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Perform data extraction from AS/400 / IBM i systems based on business requirements.\n\n- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\n\n- Design, develop, modify, and support AS/400 applications.\n\n- Work extensively with DB2/400, SQL/400, QUERY/400, and AS/400 utilities.\n\n- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.\n\n- Work with DDS Physical Files, Logical Files, SQL Tables/Files, Stored Procedures, and database objects.\n\n- Apply advanced ILE concepts, including procedures, service programs, and functions.\n\n- Troubleshoot application and database issues and provide technical solutions.\n\n- Perform database and application performance tuning and implement best practices.\n\n- Prepare technical design documents, estimation documents, and technical specifications for development changes.\n\n- Interact with business stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve technical queries.\n\n- Design and develop solutions in accordance with approved technical specifications.\n\n- Provide development and production support as required.\n\n- Participate in AS/400 modernization initiatives where applicable.\n\n- Follow development, coding, testing, documentation, and support standards.\n\nMandatory Skills :\n\n- 8 to 10 years of strong hands-on experience in AS/400 / IBM i.\n\n- Strong experience in RPG III / RPG IV / RPGLE / Free Form RPG.\n\n- Strong knowledge of CL / CLLE.\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with DB2/400.\n\n- Excellent knowledge of SQL/400 and complex SQL queries.\n\n- Hands-on experience with QUERY/400 and AS/400 data extraction utilities.\n\n- Strong understanding of DDS Physical Files and Logical Files.\n\n- Experience with SQL Tables/Files, Stored Procedures, and database objects.\n\n- Strong understanding of ILE concepts, including procedures, service programs, and functions.\n\n- Experience in application and database performance tuning.\n\n- Ability to prepare technical specifications, design documents, and effort estimations.\n\n- Strong requirement analysis and problem-solving skills.\n\n- Good communication skills with the ability to interact with business and technical stakeholders.\n\n- Willingness to work in the 1:00 PM10:30 PM shift.\n\nGood to Have :\n\n- Experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain domain.\n\n- Exposure to AS/400 / IBM i modernization projects.\n\n- Experience in
