In this role you will get the chance to work with Product Owners, Data Engineers, BI Analysts, and CFO domain owners, the Test Engineer embeds quality and control into the full lifecycle of CFO systems and data products, supporting automation, regulatory readiness, and scalable growth. You report to our Head of CFO Technology based in Copenhagen.
We offer a hybrid work model for our employees to allow for flexibility and productivity. However, we do expect you to spend most of your time in the office to build community and efficiency in the team.
Exciting work is waiting for you
- Quality & Test Ownership: own test strategy across CFO Technology (finance, risk, compliance), ensuring alignment with golden sources and strong quality gates.
- Test Automation: build and maintain automated test frameworks, covering regression, reconciliations, and controls, integrated into CI/CD workflows.
- Data & Controls Testing: validate data accuracy, lineage, and consistency, and ensure coverage of key risk, compliance, and data quality rules.
- Collaboration & Domain Alignment: translate business requirements into test scenarios, collaborate with Data and BI teams, and drive a quality-by-design culture.
- Governance & Documentation: ensure audit-ready test artefacts, support audits, and contribute to testing standards and best practices.
Things we’ll look for on your resume
To be the right candidate, your experience includes working as a Test Engineer or Test Automation Engineer within complex system landscapes, with a strong background in test automation, ideally in data-intensive or integration-heavy environments. You have hands-on experience testing data pipelines, reconciliations, and reporting solutions, along with solid knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (API, integration, and data testing). You are proficient in SQL and data validation techniques for large, structured datasets, and familiar with CI/CD pipelines, orchestration, and modern DevOps/DataOps practices, with an understanding of data lineage, metadata, and quality rules as a strong advantage.
You also bring exposure to finance, accounting, regulatory reporting, risk, or compliance systems, and are able to translate domain logic into robust, automated test scenarios. You are structured, detail-oriented, and risk-aware, comfortable working in a lean, domain-oriented environment with high ownership and accountability, and possess strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
