The successful candidate will be obsessed with quality improvement and automating tests for regression and new features.\nIn this role, you will:\nDevelop, execute and maintain test cases in assigned functional areas.\n\nIdentify and report bugs with accurate and detailed descriptions\n\nCommunicate test results and status to stakeholders.\n\nPerform end-to-end solution & quarterly regression testing within technical capabilities.\n\nWork directly with the development team to ensure quick resolution and meet project timeline.\n\nWork independently and as part of a larger cross-functional QA team to ensure quality is maintained throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle\n\nAdhere to quality standards and following best practices.\n\nParticipate in team agile practices such as attending stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and team retrospectives.\n\nWhat you bring:\n4+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Tester\n\n5+ years of industry experience in software development or test\n\nExperience in manual testing in SaaS environment with both web and mobile apps\n\nExperience using automation testing tools and frameworks such as Cypress and Appium\n\nKnowledge of SQA methodology and tools\n\nCollaboration skills to work with product owners, tech leads and engineers.\n\nStrong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes, such as Jira, Azure DevOps, DataDog, Sql Database, Postman, LambdaTest, Jira Zephyr.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of working effectively with development engineering and other functions\n\nStrong analytical skills, including ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems, and ability to analyze impacts of enhancement on existing function.\n\nWhat You Get\nA fast-paced and collaborative environment\n\nCompetitive compensation\n\nStock options at a well-funded startup\n\nWe cover 100% of medical, dental, and vision premiums for individuals on our base plan, with significant contributions toward all other plan options (USA).\n\nWe cover 100% of extended medical, dental, and vision premiums for you and your family under our single, comprehensive plan (Canada).\n\nRetirement plan with 4% company matching\n\n8 weeks paid parental leave for birthing parents, 4 weeks for non-birthing\n\n3-5 weeks PTO depending on tenure\n\n5 health days\n\n15 holidays\n\nEnd of year shutdown\n\nPerformance-based bonuses\n\nRemote first culture\n\nEqual Employment Opportunities at Bankjoy\nBankjoy is committed to hiring talented and qualified individuals with diverse backgrounds for all of its tech, non-tech, and leadership roles.
