The Human Resources Group Leader partners closely with fellow HRBPs and serving as a resource across the People function, the HRBP serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and plays a critical role in delivering HR solutions that drive business performance, employee engagement, and scalable growth. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, broad HR expertise, and experience supporting leaders in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.\nWhat You'll Do\nPartner with business leaders across Banyan Headquarters and North American Operating Companies to deliver strategic HR support aligned with business strategy and organizational goals.\nSupport M&A activity within the region, including HR due diligence and post-acquisition integration efforts such as change management, organizational design, and communications planning.\nTranslate business priorities into actionable HR initiatives across workforce planning, organizational design, talent development, and succession planning.\nServe as a credible and trusted advisor on all HR matters, including employee relations, organizational effectiveness, leadership coaching, and cultural alignment.\nProvide guidance and resolution on employee relations matters, ensuring alignment with North American employment laws, internal policies, and Banyan values.\nSupport the full talent lifecycle, including performance feedback, coaching, and development planning.\nLead initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive work culture and enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall employee experience.\nAnalyze HR metrics and trends to develop data-driven insights and solutions that drive continuous improvement.\nCollaborate with the Total Rewards team to ensure competitive, equitable compensation and benefits practices across North America.\nEnsure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulatory requirements in partnership with legal and compliance teams, mitigating HR-related risks and upholding high standards of data privacy, confidentiality, and governance.\nActively contribute to HR projects and the ongoing evolution of HR practices, tools, and systems, with a focus on scalability and operational excellence.\nWhat You Bring\n10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 7 years in a Human Resources Business Partner or equivalent strategic role, supporting US-based organizations across multiple states. Experience in a multi-entity, shared services, or high-growth environment is preferred.\nProfessional HR certification (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred.\nBroad and deep knowledge across HR disciplines, including compensation, talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and employment law.\nAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution across multiple HR functions.\nProven success navigating complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving organization.\nStrong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.\nExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of discretion, diplomacy, and influence.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.\nDeep understanding of confidentiality, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance in an HR context.\nProficiency with Google Workspace and familiarity with HRIS and talent management systems.\nThe expected base salary for this position is: $160,000 - $180,000 USD and excludes annual bonus and equity (when applicable).
