With a focus on Poland, you’ll shape how software founders in the region come to know us and help lay the foundation for our growth there.\nYou will drive our sourcing efforts by identifying qualified vertical market software companies, building coverage across our target verticals, connecting with software owners who are considering the sale of their business, and growing those relationships over time.\nYour origination efforts will directly result in Banyan acquiring businesses each year. If you love the sales process, are curious about business and M&A, enjoy learning about new industries, and want the chance to shape a new market from the ground up, join us!\nResponsibilities:\nIdentify, research, and evaluate attractive companies based on Banyan’s investment criteria.\nOutbound prospects and contact them through a mix of channels including email, phone, & conferences\nEstablish relationships and trust with software business owners in your core verticals and drive daily engagement and nurturing programs.\nProactively collaborate across the entire Banyan team to drive business outcomes and contribute innovative ideas that support our vision of creating a world class sourcing team.\nUse Banyan’s software tools and resources to continually increase your effectiveness and efficiency.\nTrack activity and maintain clear records in Salesforce.com and Outreach and report regularly on KPIs.\nQualifications for success:\n3 to 5 years of prior experience in M&A deal sourcing or origination in a private equity firm or a VMS acquirer \nPrior experience in business development or software sales is an asset\nGenuinely curious about SaaS software and business with lifelong learning in your DNA\nThrives in a metrics-driven environment and leverages data to make informed decisions.\nMeets and drives to exceed agreed upon KPIs and other critical metrics.\nExceptional writing skills and an ability to drive harmonious two-way conversations.\nLoves the sales process and improves upon Banyan’s existing data-driven approach.\nA growth-mindset matched with an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to succeed.\nStrives to continually improve skills and is coachable and open to feedback.\nA degree in Finance and/or experience related to software sales and M&A are all assets.\nThe expected base salary for this position is: €59k-78k if based in Poland. Overall Target Earnings range from €110k to 120k, Options (when applicable) and uncapped earning potential.
