The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across Precision Equipment's network of workshops, branches, and field-based customers.

The role leads the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, supplier partnerships, events, customer communications, and brand management activities. Working closely with Sales, Category, Operations and Supplier partners, the B2B Marketing Manager will develop targeted marketing programs that strengthen customer engagement, generate leads, and support commercial objectives.

This role plays a key part in positioning Precision Equipment as the preferred partner for workshop equipment, diagnostic solutions, technical services, and aftermarket support across Australia and New Zealand.

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement the annual B2B marketing strategy aligned to business growth objectives.
  • Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, email, social media, events, and supplier channels.
  • Develop customer acquisition and retention initiatives to increase market share and customer lifetime value.
  • Support new product, service, and category launches through targeted marketing activities.
  • Build and maintain marketing calendars and campaign schedules.

Customer Engagement & Lead Generation

  • Drive lead generation programs that support field sales teams and business development objectives.
  • Develop customer segmentation strategies and targeted communication plans.
  • Manage customer marketing journeys and retention campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement through data-driven insights.
  • Measure and optimise campaign effectiveness through regular reporting and analysis.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage website content, SEO, digital advertising, social media, and email marketing programs.
  • Oversee marketing automation and CRM-driven campaigns.
  • Monitor digital performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across all digital platforms.

Supplier & Partner Marketing

  • Develop collaborative marketing programs with strategic suppliers and industry partners.
  • Manage co-funded marketing initiatives and associated budgets.
  • Coordinate supplier promotions, campaigns, product launches and customer events.
  • Maximise supplier participation in customer-facing marketing activities.

Brand & Communications

  • Maintain brand consistency across all customer-facing communications and collateral.
  • Develop marketing materials including brochures, catalogues, promotional campaigns, presentations, case studies and videos.
  • Manage internal and external communications relating to marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure all communications align with Precision Equipment's value proposition and strategic objectives.

Events & Industry Engagement

  • Plan and coordinate trade shows, customer events, technical demonstrations and industry exhibitions.
  • Support sales teams with marketing materials and event activation.
  • Represent Precision Equipment at industry functions as required.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Track campaign ROI and marketing effectiveness.
  • Provide monthly reporting on lead generation, customer engagement, digital performance and marketing spend.
  • Use customer and market data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Recommend improvements based on performance insights.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage annual marketing budgets.
  • Ensure effective allocation of marketing expenditure and return on investment.
  • Monitor supplier contributions and co-investment opportunities.

About you-

Essential:

  • Results-driven with a focus on measurable outcomes.

Desirable:

  • Experience within automotive, industrial, workshop equipment or technical B2B environments.
  • Experience supporting field-based sales teams.
  • Trade, automotive aftermarket or distribution experience highly regarded.
  • Degree qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Relevant marketing certifications considered advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a B2B marketing role.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing digital marketing and lead generation programs.
  • Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Budget management and supplier partnership experience.
