This will be a fixed term contract till the end of June 2027.\nReporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely end-to-end payroll services while providing knowledgeable and responsive support to team members and leaders.\nWorking within a large and complex payroll environment, you'll gain exposure to multiple pay cycles, Awards and Agreements, time and attendance, statutory requirements, reporting and reconciliations. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to payroll system improvements, automation and broader projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nProcess end-to-end payroll across weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay cycles, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.\nManage payroll transactions including wages, allowances, deductions, bonuses, leave, new starters, employee changes and terminations.\nInterpret and apply relevant Awards, Agreements, employment conditions and payroll legislation.\nMaintain accurate employee data across payroll and time & attendance systems, ensuring strong data integrity and confidentiality.\nRespond to payroll enquiries from team members and leaders, investigating and resolving issues in a timely and customer-focused manner.\nSupport month-end activities, reconciliations, statutory payments, reporting and audit requirements.\nPartner with People & Culture, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and consistent payroll information and processes.\nIdentify opportunities to improve payroll processes, systems and automation, and contribute to payroll-related projects and system enhancements.\n You are a detail-oriented payroll professional who takes pride in getting things right and delivering a great experience for employees.\nYou will bring:\n2+ years' experience in payroll, ideally within a large or complex organisation.\nHands-on experience processing payroll end-to-end across multiple payroll cycles.\nKnowledge of Australian payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and employment standards.\nExperience interpreting Awards, Agreements and employment conditions.\nExperience using payroll and time & attendance systems.\nStrong numerical and reconciliation skills with excellent attention to detail.\nIntermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.\n Why join Bapcor?\nAt Bapcor, we value our employees and offer a supportive environment for professional growth.
