We support some of Australia’s most advanced workshops, helping keep their operations running safely and efficiently.\nDue to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to join our national service team.\n This role is ideal for an experienced Service Coordinator with strong project coordination capabilities. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating equipment installations, while also managing service repairs and breakdown work across our customer network.\nActing as the key link between customers, field technicians, contractors and internal stakeholders, you will play a critical role in delivering a seamless customer experience through proactive communication, effective planning and responsive problem-solving.\nThis is a fast-paced position that requires strong organisational skills, the ability to manage changing priorities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate and schedule technicians and contractors for equipment installations.\nEnsure plant is available for installations where required suck as forklifts.\nCoordinate and schedule technicians for service repairs and breakdowns.\nOptimise technician utilisation and productivity through effective short and long-term planning.\nPrioritise work based on urgency, customer commitments and operational requirements.\nAdjust schedules in real time to manage breakdowns, delays, leave requirements and changing priorities.\nMonitor workflow, upcoming projects and future demand to support proactive resource planning.\nCoordinate job requirements, including site readiness, access arrangements and contractor engagement.\nAct as the central coordination point to minimise downtime and disruption for customers.\nServe as the primary contact for customers regarding scheduling, updates and job progress.\nCommunicate appointment times, service updates and schedule changes in a timely and professional manner.\nPromote safe work practices through effective planning and coordination.\nConsider travel requirements, fatigue management and site conditions when scheduling work activities.\n Previous experience in a service coordination, scheduling or operations role.\nExperience coordinating field-based technical or trade teams.\nStrong planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.\nThe ability to manage competing priorities and make effective decisions under pressure.\nOutstanding verbal and written communication skills.\nA customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service.\nA calm, confident and solutions-oriented approach.\nStrong relationship-building skills and the ability to gain trust with customers, technicians and contractors.\nProficiency in scheduling and service management systems.\n Why join Bapcor?\nAt Bapcor, we focus on what matters most for our customers, team members and the communities we serve.
