Is responsible for the initial orientation and training of newly hired SPD staff. Provides for the continuing education (in-service) for staff. Assures the provision of patient care by addressing performance, patient, family, and physician issues/concerns as appropriate. Ensures on-going compliance with JCAHO/CMS accreditation and State Licensure requirements.
