As a member of this team, the main duties will be to clean and sanitize all areas of the hospital including patient rooms, offices, waiting areas, and meeting rooms.\nEnvironmental Services (EVS) Technician II is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary hospital environment. This role performs cleaning, disinfection, patient room turnover, floor care, waste disposal, and specialty cleaning projects while following infection prevention and safety standards. EVS Technician II works closely with patients, visitors, and staff to support a positive healthcare experience.\nJob Description:\nClean and disinfect specialty patient care areas and equipment, including Surgical Services, Labor & Delivery, Endoscopy, PACU, IR, Cath Lab, and other assigned clinical areas. \nFollow infection prevention, safety, OSHA, DOT, and PPE guidelines to maintain a safe healthcare environment. \nPerform occupied, discharge, and specialty cleaning using approved techniques, chemicals, and equipment. \nOperate and maintain specialized floor care equipment and cleaning tools according to manufacturer and department standards. \nProperly handle and dispose of regulated medical, hazardous, and general waste. \nReport maintenance, equipment, and safety concerns promptly. \nParticipate in ongoing training, quality improvement initiatives, and department meetings to support patient safety and exceptional care.\nPerforms specialty tasks per facility needs, including, but not limited to, conference room set up/dismantle according to function sheets and schedules, cleaning of stairwells and elevators, and hanging of cubicle curtains. \nRequirements\nNo prior experience is required;
