In this important role, you will help coordinate patient appointments, diagnostic testing, and surgical procedures while working closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth, supportive experience for our patients.\nIf you thrive in a fast-paced medical office, enjoy coordinating complex schedules, and take pride in providing excellent service, we encourage you to apply!\nWhat You'll Do\nCoordinate patient appointments: Schedule physician visits, diagnostic testing, and surgical procedures by phone and in person.\nManage surgical scheduling: Coordinate complex surgical cases, including procedures requiring collaboration between surgical and plastic surgery teams.\nCollaborate across departments: Work closely with Nurse Navigation, Genetics, Oncology, Surgery Scheduling, Plastic Surgery, Radiology, and other healthcare teams.\nMaintain accurate records: Update patient medical records and scan documentation into OnBase.\nCoordinate insurance authorizations: Obtain the necessary authorizations from insurance companies for scheduled services and procedures.\nSupport daily operations: Perform general office duties and help keep the department organized and running efficiently.\nCommunicate effectively: Ensure clear, timely communication with patients, providers, and team members to support coordinated care.\nWhat We're Looking For\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nOne to three years of clerical experience in a physician's office preferred.\nFamiliarity with medical office systems and scheduling applications preferred.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.\nWhy Join Our Team?\nAt Baptist Health Medical Group, your work helps connect patients with the care they need.
