Role Summary:

The role of Payroll Clerk calls for a meticulous and organized individual with a strong commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include overseeing the preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring the timely and precise payment of all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and efficiently using payroll software
• Ensure all payroll information is entered and maintained correctly, including new hires, terminations and adjustments
• Maintain accurate records of employee earnings, deductions and benefits
• Ensure full compliance with statutory deductions such as PAYE, NIS and other relevant contributions
• Address payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional manner
• Support audits and ensure payroll documentation is up to date and properly filed
• Prepare and distribute payslips and payroll reports
• Collaborate with Human Resources and Finance departments to ensure smooth end-to-end payroll operations

Key Requirements:

• Experience in Paypak an asset
• Demonstrated ability to manage weekly and monthly payrolls
• Strong knowledge of statutory deductions and payroll legislation
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good intepersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
