You will provide production support and application management for Synthetics SWAP Trading and related applications, ensuring system availability, stability, and accuracy. Act as the primary escalation point for issues impacting Front Office trading operations, participate in crisis management, and collaborate with Business, Development, Infrastructure, Operations, and vendors to support production changes, resolve incidents, and minimize business disruption.\nTo be successful as an Application Support Analyst - SRE, you should have:\nAmple knowledge of Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems\nExperience with SQL Server, including SQL and PL/SQL development and support\nProficiency in Shell/Perl scripting and PowerShell, with working knowledge of Java and middleware technologies\nPractical experience with ITRS Geneos, Autosys, PGP Encryption/Decryption, and modern platforms such as aPaaS, OpenShift, and Kafka\nUnderstanding of trading applications and business processes, preferably within Prime Services, with experience supporting technology solutions in a financial services environment\nSome other highly valued skills may include:\nAbility to read and analyze code, with advanced skills in Unix Shell/Perl scripting, Python, and SQL for application support and database investigations\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in handling client-facing interactions and challenging situations\nAnalytical and troubleshooting abilities, with experience investigating trading and settlement-related queries, including trade processing, pricing, accruals, rates, and costs\nExperience in monitoring, optimizing, and tuning application performance, identifying bottlenecks, and improving system reliability and efficiency\nFamiliarity with ITIL principles and best practices, with the ability to collaborate effectively across development, infrastructure, and operations teams to support scalable and stable production environments\nYou may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.\nThis role is located in New York, NY and Whippany, NJ.\nSalary for New York, NY:\nMinimum Salary: $75,000\nMaximum Salary: $125,000\nThe minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate.
