You will work closely with multiple teams across Equities Valuations and Quantitative Analytics, driving improvements to a critical C++/Lua codebase.\nYour focus will be on elevating engineering standards, introducing best practices, and ensuring the platform meets high standards of performance, reliability, and maintainability. This role offers a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to influence engineering practices across teams.\nTo be successful as an Equities Valuations C++ Software Engineer, you should have:\nDeep demonstrable programming expertise in C++, working on large-scale, complex codebases, with an extensive experience in memory analysis, performance profiling, and optimisation.\nProven ability to influence engineering standards and drive best practices across multiple teams, i.e. automated unit and integration testing, code quality and health metrics and reporting, continuous integration and deployment, automated validation of performance and other non-functional requirements.\nBe comfortable working independently with minimal oversight, managing priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes.\nSome other highly valued skills may include:\nExperience with Java and integration with C++ through JNI.\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices, including source control, CI/CD pipelines and automation, and release management.\nExperience with scripting or embedded languages such as Python, Lua, or similar.\nYou may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.\nThis role is based in our office in Prague.\nEntry Salary: 1,884,000.00 CZK\nUpper Salary: 2,301,000.00 CZK\nThe entry and upper salary information above includes only annual full-time equivalent base salary and represents the typical range of pay for the role.
