They will also be expected to demonstrate the Barclays Mindset - to Empower, Challenge and Drive - the operating manual for how we behave.\nStep into the role of KYC Analyst, is responsible for completing periodic KYC/CDD reviews for Barclaycard Issuing customers, ensuring customer information remains complete, accurate and up to date. The analyst will review customer profiles, obtain and validate required information/documentation, identify potential financial crime risks, and progress cases in line with applicable procedures and defined service levels.\nYou may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:\nComplete end-to-end KYC/CDD periodic refresh reviews for customers allocated within the Barclaycard Issuing portfolio.\nReview existing customer information and identify gaps or changes requiring further investigation or supporting documentation.\nValidate key customer information, including:Customer/entity details\nKnowledge of identification & verification from public domain and third party approved sources.\nTransactional analysis\nNature of business and business activities\nOwnership and control structure\nDirectors and relevant connected parties\nSource of funds/source of wealth, where applicable\nOther information required under the relevant KYC/CDD standard\n\nPerform appropriate customer and financial crime risk assessment in accordance with approved procedures.\nReview available internal and external information and evidence to support completion of the refresh.\nIdentify cases requiring additional information and initiate appropriate customer outreach.\nReview information and documentation received from customers and determine whether requirements have been satisfactorily met.\nMaintain accurate case notes and a clear audit trail of decisions, evidence and actions undertaken.\nIdentify potential AML, sanctions, PEP, adverse media, or other financial crime risk indicators and escalate concerns through the prescribed process.\nEnsure cases are completed within agreed SLA and ageing requirements, proactively managing outstanding actions and dependencies.\nComplete cases to the required quality standard and respond to Quality Assurance feedback where applicable.\nEscalate complex cases, policy interpretation questions, and exceptions to the relevant SME/Team Leader.\nSupport operational objectives relating to backlog reduction, productivity, quality, and timely completion of customer refresh reviews.\nKey Skills & Experience\nExperience in KYC, CDD, AML, Financial Crime Operations, or customer due diligence.\nUnderstanding of periodic/ongoing KYC review processes.\nAbility to interpret customer and corporate information and supporting documentation.\nStrong analytical and investigative skills.\nGood written communication and ability to document a clear rationale for decisions.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work within controlled processes.\nAbility to manage multiple cases against productivity and SLA expectations.\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other standard Microsoft applications.\nDesirable Skills.\nPrevious experience within Barclaycard, Barclays, or another regulated financial institution.\nExperience in Corporate/Commercial customer KYC.\nUnderstanding of ownership structures, UBO identification and corporate documentation.\nKnowledge of sanctions, PEP, and adverse-media considerations within CDD.\nExperience working within a maker/checker, QC or QA-controlled environment.\nThis role is based out of
