Job Description

Purpose of the role

To create content that highlights and promotes the bank’s goals and objectives across various platforms and omnichannels to appropriate channels by crafting compelling narratives and designing engaging visual content

Accountabilities

  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders to develop content messages, themes and topics which communicate the bank’s objectives.
  • Management of the end-to-end content creation process including as needed writing, editing, animation creation, and static asset development which will be used and communicated across platforms.
  • Management of content that engages clients and other stakeholders via articles, social media, videos and infographics.
  • Monitoring the performance of content across various channels using analytics tools.
  • In certain cases, development and maintenance of platforms such as microsites to promote the bank’s business objectives, values, products, services and campaigns for specific audiences.

Join us as a Product Content Designer in our Private Bank and Wealth Management team in London.

The Product Content Designer is responsible for identifying and delivering opportunities to improve digital wealth management journeys, with a focus on helping customers understand their options, feel confident in their decisions and take appropriate action. The role works across product, design, research, data, marketing and control teams to improve user experience, comprehension and engagement across key customer journeys.

As part of the digital business-building agenda, the role uses customer insight, behavioural data, journey analysis and UX principles to identify friction, simplify decision points and improve the effectiveness of digital experiences. The focus is on creating clearer, more intuitive journeys that support better customer outcomes, stronger engagement and improved comprehension.

What you will be doing

  • Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys by analysing user behaviour, customer feedback, research insight and journey performance data.
  • Improve customer comprehension by simplifying complex wealth, investing and advice-related decision points within digital journeys.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Research, Data Science, Marketing and Compliance to shape joined-up experiences that are clear, intuitive and commercially effective.
  • Use UX, behavioural design, conversion rate optimisation and content design principles to reduce friction, build customer confidence and encourage appropriate customer action.
  • Define and support improvements to messaging, guidance, prompts and decision support across priority wealth management journeys.
  • Support experimentation, testing and optimisation to improve engagement, comprehension, conversion and customer outcomes.
  • Ensure journey improvements remain accurate, compliant, accessible and aligned to brand, risk and control requirements.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience improving digital journeys, user experiences, customer engagement or customer communications within product-led environments.
  • Ability to identify customer pain points and translate insight into practical journey improvements.
  • Experience working with product, UX, research, data, marketing, engagement or digital journey teams.

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of UX principles, customer behaviour, plain language and digital decision-making.
  • Financial services, wealth, investing, banking or regulated communications experience is beneficial.
  • Passion for improving UX, customer comprehension and engagement in digital financial journeys.
