You will harness cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable and secure infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of our digital solutions.\nTo be successful as a Test Automation Engineer you should have experience with:\nStrong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks for API, UI, and end-to-end testing.\nExtensive experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Karate, and modern test automation tools.\nStrong programming skills in Core Java with a focus on automation framework development and test engineering best practices.\nProven expertise in API testing, Web Services, REST APIs, and automation of service-based architectures.\nExperience testing enterprise-scale web-based applications across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing cycles.\nStrong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, test strategies, planning, defect management, and quality assurance processes.\nGood working knowledge of SQL and relational databases for backend validation and data-driven testing.\nExperience working within Agile/Scrum delivery models and test management tools such as Jira.\nHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into DevOps delivery processes.\nProven ability to drive quality engineering practices, code reviews, automation standards, and testing governance.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and investigative skills with a keen eye for identifying quality risks.\nExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills, working effectively with development, business, and QA teams.\nSome other highly valued skills may include:\nBanking domain knowledge such as Payments & Transfer, Treasury, Settlement, Reconciliation, Regulatory and Compliance Controls.\nExposure to performance, scalability, security, and resilience testing methodologies.\nHands-on experience with containerized testing environments using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.\nExperience with modern test reporting, monitoring, and quality dashboards.\nUnderstanding of cloud-native application testing on AWS, Azure, or Barclays Cloud Platform (BCP).\nExperience working with messaging technologies such as Kafka and MQ for event-driven testing.\nFamiliarity with Shift-Left testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.\nExposure to test data management, service virtualization, and non-functional testing strategies.\nAbility to mentor engineers and drive automation-first quality engineering culture across teams.\nDigital Assets / Blockchain / DLT -
