Job Description

Purpose of the role

To maintain service standards for workplace services, food and beverage services, event planning and other amenities, and collaborate with vendors to deliver on time and within budget.

Accountabilities

  • Management of workplace budget activities to track expenses, forecast costs and identify potential cost saving opportunities.
  • Implementation of the Global Facilities Management Contract Governance schedule in Country, Region Site in line with audit requirements.
  • Management the Banks Global Facilities management Partner delivering of various building service facilities including catering, cleaning, document services, landscaping, waste management, transportation, through vendor coordination.
  • Collaboration with CRES Commercial to manage the facility budget activities through expense tracking, cost forecasting and the identification of cost saving opportunities.
  • Development and maintenance of business intelligence data of Global Facilities Management Industry standards including Service benchmarking, performance metrics, employee satisfaction and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Identification of Facilities Management Industry innovative initiatives to drive continuous improvement, Hybrid working, productivity and Colleague Satisfaction and support the implementation process.
  • Collaboration with CRES H&S, Building Operations, Capital Projects and CRES Risk & Governance Management to Log, Manage and track any workplace related risks.

To be successful as a "VP CRES Commercial”, you should have experience with:

  • Graduation in any discipline. A relevant qualification in commercial management, procurement, finance, contract management or facilities management would be an advantage.
  • Strong commercial management capability, with experience of managing contracts, supplier pricing, financial performance and commercial negotiations in a complex organisation.
  • Good understanding of facilities management services and the commercial models used to deliver workplace, building and support services.
  • Ability to interpret contractual terms, pricing schedules, service measures and supplier proposals, translating them into clear commercial actions.
  • Experience of budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, invoice validation and financial control.
  • Proven ability to identify value opportunities through benchmarking, negotiation, demand challenge and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with detailed financial and operational data.
  • Highly organised and structured, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Clear and persuasive written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain complex commercial matters at a summary level.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders, suppliers and cross-functional teams across countries and organisational boundaries.
  • Practical understanding of risk, control, governance and record-keeping requirements in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to address critical situations calmly, make evidence-based recommendations and support timely resolution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint, including the preparation of commercial analysis and senior-level presentations.
  • Willingness to travel where required.

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

  • Experience in an integrated facilities management, corporate real estate, procurement, supplier management or commercial finance environment.
  • Experience of large, outsourced service contracts operating across multiple countries or regions.
  • Knowledge of facilities management cost drivers, service categories, performance measures and industry benchmarking approaches.
  • Experience working with sourcing, legal and third-party risk teams through contract tendering, negotiation, mobilisation, renewal or exit.
  • Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI or similar data visualisation and analytical tools.
  • A relevant professional qualification in commercial management, procurement, finance, contract management, facilities management or a related discipline.
