As part of our international engineering organization, you will collaborate with colleagues across Belgium and China to shape the next generation of professional projection solutions.\nAbout the role\nAs a Digital Hardware Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of advanced electronic platforms for our next-generation products. You will be responsible for the design, implementation and validation of complex digital hardware solutions, from concept through production release.\nWorking in a multidisciplinary environment, you will collaborate closely with system engineers, embedded software, mechanical and FPGA engineers to deliver innovative and reliable solutions that meet demanding performance, quality and cost requirements. You will take technical ownership of electronic designs and contribute to architectural decisions, technology selection and product roadmap activities.\nKey responsibilities\nDesign and develop complex digital electronic circuits and multilayer PCBs.\nDefine and implement high-speed interfaces such as DDR, Ethernet, USB, PCIe and related technologies.\nPerform signal integrity, power integrity and EMC-conscious design activities.\nSelect electronic components with consideration for performance, availability, cost and lifecycle.\nDefine hardware architectures together with system, FPGA and software teams.\nSupport FPGA and microcontroller integration within larger electronic systems.\nPerform bring-up, debugging and validation of prototypes and product platforms.\nInvestigate and resolve technical issues throughout development and production phases.\nReview designs and provide technical coaching to less experienced engineers.\nContribute to continuous improvement of hardware development methodologies and design practices.\nProfile\nMaster's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent through experience.\nMinimum 4 - 6 years of experience in electronic hardware development.\nProven experience with complex digital hardware and PCB design.\nExperience bringing products from concept to industrialization.\nExperience working in multidisciplinary product development teams.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong knowledge of digital electronics and high-speed hardware design.\nExperience with multilayer PCB development and design for manufacturing.\nGood understanding of signal integrity, power integrity and EMC principles.\nExperience with DDR memory interfaces and other high-speed communication technologies.\nProgramming experience in Python, C, or C# for test automation and debugging.\nSolid debugging and laboratory skills.\nExperience in component selection and awareness of lifecycle and obsolescence challenges.\nFamiliarity with Siemens Xpedition or equivalent.\nNice to Have\nExperience with FPGA development environments and VHDL.\nExperience with microcontrollers and related development tools.\nKnowledge of embedded software development.\nFamiliarity with Silicon Expert or similar tools.\nExperience with optical, imaging or display-related systems.\nExperience in safety-critical or highly reliable electronic systems.\nKnowledge of manufacturing test and production support processes.\nSoft Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProactive, innovative, and
