Its continuous high-quality R&D effort and proven flexibility towards customers’ needs offers the best guarantee for future-proof control room investments.\nAbout the R&D Team\nOur R&D team is a multidisciplinary engineering group comprising Electronics, Mechanical, and Optics engineers focused on the development of advanced LED Tile Display solutions.\nThe team is responsible for the complete product development lifecycle, including:\nElectronics Design: Power architecture, LED driving circuits, signal processing, control systems, FPGA/embedded solutions, EMC/ESD compliance, and reliability engineering.\nMechanical Design: Tile structure development, thermal management, manufacturability, installation mechanisms, environmental protection, and durability optimization.\nOptical Engineering: Brightness and uniformity optimization, viewing angle performance, color calibration, contrast enhancement, light extraction efficiency, and visual quality assessment.\nSystem Integration: Seamless integration of electronic, mechanical, and optical subsystems to deliver high-performance LED display products.\nInnovation & Validation: Researching new technologies, prototyping, testing, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of product performance, reliability, and cost.\nThe team collaborates closely to transform innovative concepts into robust, scalable, and high-quality LED display solutions for commercial, industrial, and specialized display applications.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking a skilled Electronics Hardware Designer to join our R&D Team\nKey Responsibilities\nConfigure LED driver ICs to achieve target display performance, including brightness, grayscale, color accuracy, and uniformity.\nOptimize driver parameters such as current settings, PWM timing, scan configuration, gamma, and grayscale performance.\nEvaluate image quality metrics including mura, flicker, ghosting, cross-talk, low grayscale performance, and refresh rate.\nSupport LED panel calibration, white balance, gamma correction, and color uniformity optimization.\nPerform laboratory measurements using oscilloscopes, multimeters, colorimeters, spectrometers, and imaging systems.\nAnalyze electrical characteristics including power consumption, signal integrity, voltage, current, and thermal behavior.\nWork closely with hardware, FPGA, firmware, and manufacturing teams to debug display issues.\nValidate new LED driver ICs and recommend optimal configurations for different LED technologies (SMD, COB, Flip-chip, etc.).\nPrepare technical documentation, configuration guidelines, and validation reports.\nSupport supplier interactions and troubleshooting during product development and manufacturing.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nMaster or Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering or equal by experience\nStrong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.\nGood knowledge of LED display architecture and LED driver ICs.\nUnderstanding of PWM, multiplexing, grayscale control, and constant-current drivers.\nKnowledge of display calibration concepts including gamma, color temperature, white point, and luminance.\nExperience with laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes and power supplies.\nBasic scripting or programming knowledge (Python, C/C++, or MATLAB) is desirable.\nExperience with fine-pitch LED displays.\nKnowledge of image quality optimization and calibration techniques.\nExperience working with LED driver vendors and display manufacturers.\nAbility to analyze electrical waveforms and troubleshoot hardware issues.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood communication and teamwork abilities.\nBarco is an equal opportunity employer.
