platform within the Barco Control Rooms portfolio.\nDesign, develop and maintain robust, scalable, and sovereign cloud backend solutions.\nDesign and implement multi-layered data architectures and data lake solutions.\nIntegrate front-end applications with server-side logic.\nEnsure system performance, reliability and data integrity.\nWrite efficient, reusable and maintainable code.\nDevelop and maintain automated tests to support software quality.\nBuild, validate, and improve solutions through software development, technical investigations, proofs of concept, testing, and code reviews.\nSupport with implementing AI architectures & designs with robust engineering\nCollaborate closely with developers, product owner and product manager to share ideas and knowledge.\nPromote a system-wide mindset across software components, teams, and development locations.\nYour Profile\n\nExperience & Knowledge\nBachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent through experience.\nProven experience designing and evolving cloud-native software architectures & cloud infrastructure operating at scale.\nProven experience in full-stack software development using technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and Python.\nHands-on mindset with experience building proofs of concept, prototypes, experiments, and technical validations.\nBroad software engineering expertise, including serverless architectures, event-driven systems, microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms.\nStrong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, reliability, observability, security, and cost optimization.\nFamiliar with cloud devops & SRE\nKnowledge of cloud security fundamentals, identity and access management, data protection, and secure software development practices.\nUnderstanding of modern AI and machine learning concepts, including large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, model evaluation, and AI governance.\nStrong learning mindset with a commitment to staying current on developments in cloud technologies and artificial intelligence.\nExcellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain vision, trade-offs, risks, and technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executive stakeholders.\nExperience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google AI technologies such as Vertex AI, Gemini, and AI Platform is considered an asset.\nFluency in spoken and written English.\nExperience working in international development environments is considered an asset.\nExperience in large-scale agile environments involving multiple teams and product
