The position will report to the Senior Manager of Consultancy. This position is client facing and will require some level of travel. This position provides an excellent opportunity to grow as a renewable energy professional. The positions principal duties and responsibility of the include:\nSupporting Project Managers in management of consulting, engineering and testing projects assigned\n\nProducing performing solar resource studies and performing energy production estimates using tools such as PVsyst\n\nProducing energy modelling on storage projects using tools such as Homer\n\nAnalyzing and opining on renewable energy project level documentation such as interconnection agreements, power purchase agreements, EPC agreements, O&M agreements, permits, and environmental reviews\n\nVerifying and opining on electrical designs of renewable energy projects.\n\nBe able to evaluate or understand production data provided by clients and assisting with analyzing said data\n\nPerform reviews and opining of equipment used on potential renewable energy projects.\n\nContinuous evaluation of process improvement for technical due diligence reports produced.\n\nManage deadlines and expectations\n\nEnsure the highest level of quality assurance and quality control of own work\n\nTake full responsibility of the tasks assigned work with autonomy\n\nRequirements:\n3 to 5 years of photovoltaic design, construction, and/or maintenance.\n\nStrong analytical and technical as well as problem-solving skills\n\nDemonstrated ability to perform under high pressure and dynamic work environment managing multiple project deliverables\n\nProven experience in solar projects, either in consulting, engineering, construction and/or development. Having storage experience is a plus\n\nExcellent understanding of solar electrical design\n\nDemonstrated ability to assimilate technical and commercial information and translate that into appropriate and translate into appropriate opinions or assessments\n\nAbility to work effectively as a member of a member of a larger multidisciplinary team and to manage multiple concurrent projects\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills and planning, prioritizing and organizing abilities.\n\nExperience with PVsyst.
