The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact between internal teams, clients, EPC contractors, consultants, utilities, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and technical requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Execution & Management\nLead utility-scale solar and BESS projects throughout development, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover phases.\n\nManage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk in accordance with company objectives and contractual requirements.\n\nCoordinate internal and external project stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, construction, interconnection, environmental, and permitting teams.\n\nMonitor project progress and proactively identify schedule, cost, quality, and technical risks.\n\nDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and reporting metrics.\n\nContractor & Vendor Management\nManage EPC contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.\n\nReview contractor schedules, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.\n\nCoordinate procurement and delivery of owner-furnished equipment including PV modules, trackers, inverters, transformers, and BESS equipment.\n\nSupport vendor evaluations, bid reviews, and contract negotiations.\n\nTechnical Oversight\nCoordinate engineering reviews and ensure alignment with project requirements, interconnection obligations, and applicable codes and standards.\n\nSupport design review processes including civil, structural, electrical, SCADA, and protection/control systems.\n\nOversee commissioning activities, testing, punch list management, and turnover documentation.\n\nFinancial & Commercial Management\nTrack project costs, cash flow, contingency usage, and forecast accuracy.\n\nReview and approve invoices, pay applications, and change order requests.\n\nSupport financial reporting, project controls, and executive-level status updates.\n\nAssist with project budgeting and profitability analysis.\n\nHealth, Safety & Quality\nPromote and enforce a strong safety culture across all project activities.\n\nEnsure compliance with site-specific safety plans, environmental requirements, and quality assurance/quality control procedures.\n\nParticipate in site inspections, incident reviews, and corrective action tracking.\n\nStakeholder Coordination\nServe as primary client interface for project communications and reporting.\n\nCoordinate with utilities, AHJs, landowners, and regulatory agencies as required.\n\nPrepare executive summaries, progress reports, meeting minutes, and risk registers.\n\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred.\n\nExperience\n5+ years of experience managing utility-scale solar, renewable energy, or infrastructure construction projects.\n\nExperience with projects exceeding 50 MW preferred.\n\nExperience with BESS projects strongly preferred.\n\nFamiliarity with EPC contract structures, project controls, commissioning, and utility interconnection processes.\n\nTechnical Knowledge\nUnderstanding of:\nUtility-scale solar PV systems\n\nBESS systems and integration\n\nHV/MV electrical systems\n\nSCADA and communications systems\n\nConstruction sequencing and commissioning\n\nFamiliarity with applicable codes and standards including NEC, IEEE, NFPA, OSHA, and utility requirements.\n\nSkills\nStrong leadership and organizational skills.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent project management software.\n\nPreferred Certifications\nPMP (Project Management Professional)\n\nOSHA 30\n\nNABCEP certification (preferred but not required)\n\nWork Environment\nCombination of office and field-based work.\n\nTravel to project sites required,
