Responsibilities:\n Must possess competence in the following areas in order to perform this role in a safe, productive and effective manner:\nAbility to safely and effectively operate a Motor Grader/Blade in Heavy Civil construction setting in precise passes to level, shape and smooth subgrades. \nUse technology, laser systems and reference grade stakes to achieve exact project elevations and drainage.\nSet and regulate blade depth, angle, and tilt. \nMinimum five (5) years construction experience.\nMinimum two (2) years operating a Motor Grader/Blade.\nFollow all company safety policies and procedures. \nOperate equipment in an efficient manner and follow instruction of on-site management.\nFollow all equipment monitoring and maintenance requirements.\nBe capable and willing to maintain equipment as needed.\nResponsibilities\nMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.\nAbility to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb or crawl.\nAbility to correctly rig and hoist material.\nAbility to tolerate heights without fear.\nAbility to maintain balance.\nAble to enter the cab of a vehicle or piece of equipment that is 3 feet or more off the ground.\nAbility to stand or walk for long periods of time, reach for, handle, and manipulate items and to work in extreme weather conditions (cold and wet).\nAble to work long, irregular and varied hours, six to seven day per week, 50 to 70 hours per week.\nAbility to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.\nAbility to safely and effectively perform
