This position reports to the Production Supervisor.\nHours: 6A-6P Friday-Sunday\nCore Responsibilities:\nSet-Up and operation on CNC Laser and other production machines.\nUnderstanding and ability to problem solve any issues that may occur with machinery and/or material. \nWorking with a variety of measuring, inspection devices, hand tools and the ability to identify different types and thickness of materials.\nAbility to utilize various inspection tools, Calipers, Mics, Overlays and Pin Gauges.\nAbility to pay exceptional attention to detail and have the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively under deadline pressures while following direction and completing assignments accurately and on time.\nProficient computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.\nAbility to plan and perform difficult work processes.\nInteract and communicate in a professional and effective manner with all levels employees.\nSchedule and organize time and tasks effectively. \nAbility to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment.\nLearns and adheres to required safety and housekeeping standards and practices\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nPrefer background in Aerospace Industry.\nSets up and programs machinery to cut sheet material and create fixtures per customer specifications.\nAnalyzes drawings and specifications and determines tooling by applying knowledge and experience of metal properties, machining and processes.
