If you are a high-energy individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this position may be of special interest to you.\nCore Responsibilities:\nAlways follow all required safety standards and procedures.\nAlways follow required environmental standards and procedures.\nRepairs and maintains all facility machinery and mechanical equipment through preventative maintenance and problem-solving skills.\nWorks with outside vendors and contractors to initiate and implement equipment and facility repair on an as needed basis. \nUtilizes analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills to examine, repair and/or detect issues with machinery or equipment for repair on hydraulic and electrical systems. \nInspects, observes, and examines mechanical devices in operation to determine root cause of problem and if necessary, dismantles or adjust devices to repair to specifications.\nProvides recommendations or modifications to processes and procedures and collaborates with other maintenance mechanics to increase machine efficiency & up time.\nPrioritize daily activities to ensure completion of responsibilities and to keep the facility running.\nPerforms preventative maintenance on the facility and equipment.\nWilling to work extra hours as required to finish repairs and put equipment back into service.\nWilling to participate in the rotation of being on call with the other maintenance mechanics.\nClean up and put away tools, parts, etc., at the completion of each job.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nAt least five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, preferably in Aerospace.\nMust have in-depth knowledge and electrical skills\nMust have in-depth knowledge and ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical, machining, hydraulics, building maintenance schematics\nPrevious maintenance experience with industrial production systems, plumbing, control systems, welding, fabrication, and hydraulic systems.\nAbility to operate a Drill Press, Power/Hand Tools, Measuring Equipment and Test Equipment such as a voltmeter.\nAbility to pay exceptional attention to detail and have the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively under deadline pressures while following direction and completing assignments accurately and on time.\nBasic computer skills and PLC knowledge.\nAbility to read, understand, and interpret drawings, schematics, and manuals.\nInteract and communicate in a professional and effective manner with all levels of personnel.\nSchedule and organize time and tasks effectively\nAbility to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment\nEducation Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required \nApprenticeship or Associates Degree preferred or certificate of training to demonstrate qualifications \nThis job position may include access to controlled information or technology subject to U.S. export control laws.
