This role requires direct engagement with production leads, responsibility for CNC programming, tooling and fixture design, and continuous process improvement. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving real-time manufacturing challenges, we encourage you to apply.\nCore Responsibilities:\nSupports production milling, turning, and/or grinding programming and processes.\nOwn manufacturing processes from concept through production implementation and support.\nDevelop and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis milling, turning, and/or grinding operations.\nLead tool selection and cutting strategy development to maximize efficiency and tool life.\nDesign fixtures and work holding solutions to ensure repeatability and throughput.\nWork directly with production leads and machinists to resolve issues in real time.\nProvide hands-on shop floor support for setups, prove-outs, and process validation.\nDrive material review (MRB) processes and implement corrective actions.\nCollaborate with lab engineers, quality, and operators to meet all technical requirements.\nQualifications:\n3+ years of experience programming CNC multi-axis milling, turning, and grinding machines (aerospace preferred)\nHands-on experience with fixture design, tooling selection, and machining process optimization\nLean manufacturing experience\nProven ability to work directly with production teams in a fast-paced environment\nStrong ability to organize and prioritize work to meet production demands\nProficient at reading and interpreting customer drawings, specifications, and GD&T\nProficient with computer systems, CAD/CAM experience\nEducation Requirements:\nBS degree (Engineering discipline preferred)\nSalary: $78,000-$121,000\nBarnes Aerospace offers eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; a Health Savings Account (HSA) with company contributions for eligible medical plan participants; flexible spending accounts (FSAs); a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions; life and disability insurance; and paid vacation and holidays.
