If you are a self-motivated, career-minded individual with a solid supply chain background and with the skills to lead improvement, please submit your resume for further consideration.\nCore Responsibilities:\nLead the procurement organization for MI Operations and the West Chester site, providing coaching, management, and escalation support to the team.\nDriving KPI performance metrics - late release, push/pull/cancel, delinquency/OTD and costs/PPV.\nBuilding supplier relationships and leading efforts to work with vendors to ensure OTD and cost needs for sites.\nDriving the sourcing strategy that delivers a competitive advantage including implementation of the strategic supplier initiatives. This includes supplier selection, development, and supplier consolidation to ensure sourcing optimization and overall supplier performance.\nLeading Global Purchase Family or Regional Commodity specific sourcing with full accountability for buy and meeting material deflation targets by setting strategic direction for global or regional sourcing professionals.\nDeveloping strategies and driving negotiations to meet the quality, fulfillment, and productivity requirements of the business.\nSources and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization.\nCompiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives.\nCompiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.\nConfers with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.\nReviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects, or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records.\nCollaborate with other departments, such as procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, to identify or qualify new suppliers.\nMonitor and report on supplier performance and implement corrective action when required.\nPreparing bid packages, and coaching supporting procurement team as needed on bids and negotiations.\nOther related duties and projects as assigned.\nQualifications:\nFive to ten years of related Supply Chain Management experience in an Engineer-to-order manufacturing, OEM, aerospace, or defense environment.\nDemonstrated progressive career development with increasing responsibilities, with an emphasis in manufacturing.\nStrong knowledge of production flow, inventory flow, and documentation procedures.\nStrong business/financial acumen, proficient in leading and setting direction for teams, including demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.\nExcellent growth leadership skills demonstrating clear global perspective and understand factors impacting Aerospace businesses and our suppliers.\nAbility to organize time effectively to satisfactorily complete assigned tasks and functions.
