The ideal candidate will perform a variety of duties supporting material flow throughout the manufacturing process, which includes ordering purchased parts, outside processing services and coordinating inventory control transactions to ensure inventory is on hand to support the day today needs of the business. In addition, this individual will have responsibility for standard work and inventory accuracy of material transactions and all inventory including consumables. If you are an individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment this position may be of interest to you.\nCore Responsibilities:\nManage all aspects of inventory and inventory movement.\nOversee and review various material and inventory transactions, cycle counts, and receiving function to complete purchase order function into ERP.\nDaily management of all inventory transactions, material stores and OV shipping and receiving.\nProvide oversight for proper handling and storage of materials.\nAssure production requirements are met by OV’s in accordance with the Master Production Schedule.\nWork directly with the Strategic Materials Lead and Production team to organize and track all consumable tools including grinding wheels, electrodes, cutters, drills, etc.\nResponsible for ensuring all material storage areas are maintained.\nMaintain cycle count program with ABC stratification, review and resolve adjustments (with approvals) and report accuracy.\nServe as lead for annual stores and WIP Physical Inventory counts.\nCollaborate with Planners to plan and issue material for production machining, raw material, and semi-finished components.\nCollaborate with Raw Material Buyers/Planners/Engineers and Quality team to manage and maintain RTV material.\nUnderstand and monitor ERP (Syteline) messages for release dates, due dates and promise dates for materials and purchase parts.\nAssist in purchasing Materials, Purchased Parts, OV Processes and Outside Services to meet production and delivery requirements.\nSupport all Financial and Quality audits as required.\nWear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.\nComply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of duties.\nLead the operations of Shipping, Receiving and Stockroom for both OEM and MRO businesses.\nResponsible for training employees and daily superintendents.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\n2+ years’ experience in an aerospace production environment.\nStrong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task.\nAbility to prioritize workload as conflicts arise and resolve issues in a timely manner.\nAbility to problem solve and make decisions based on data and instruction.\nAbility to interpret travelers and work instructions.\nComputer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required as well as working knowledge of ERP system.\nCandidate must be able to work well in both a team environment and across various departmental functions within the company.\nAbility to effectively operate lift
