This role will be both site and office based, working within the Senior Contracts Management team, liaising with Project and Site management staff, planning large scale projects and overseeing the construction teams on site, ensuring all aspects of the projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.Therefore this role would ideally suit a committed, highly motivated, ambitious, individual with relevant experience within the field.Roles\nExecute contracts to delivery schedule\nEstablish and maintain supplier relationships\nManage project teams\nSafe delivery of projects\nCommunicate contract related information to all stakeholders\nOffice based with regular visits to sites\nProduce Gantt Chart programmes for client, including detailed finishing programmes\nOverseeing commercial settlements with clients and subcontractors\nProduce and agree Procurement schedules\nInterrogate designs from both consultants and subcontractors\nRequired Skills\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience working for a comparable business in new build/refurbishment projects. Refurbishment experience useful but not essential.\nAbility to demonstrate a detailed understanding of construction methods and techniques\nAbility to challenge / interrogate designs in order to promote the most effective, buildable and cost-effective solutions.\nDemonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills\nAbility to meet project objectives within designated constraints\nRobust skills in safe delivery of projects\nHappy to travel around the Northwest\nLive within a commutable distance to Nelson\nDriving license\nEnthusiastic, outgoing personality\nAn understanding of legal documentation\nMaths and IT knowledge\nGood verbal communication skills\nA hands-on leader able to get into the detail\nProven strategic skills to assess priorities, develop and implement effective long-term plans\nAble to develop business relationships in the customer base at the highest level;
