Candidates must currently reside in the greater Memphis area or be willing to relocate prior to their start date.\nResponsibilities\nLead & Develop the Project Coordinator TeamRecruit, hire, onboard, and train Project Coordinators.\nCoach and mentor Project Coordinators on Barnhart's project management processes and best practices.\nLead regular team meetings to review project progress, identify challenges, and develop solutions.\nSupport the growth and development of Project Coordinators through hands-on project involvement.\n\nManage Projects & Customer RelationshipsServe as Project Manager and primary customer contact for major projects in partnership with Project Coordinators.\nManage select projects independently to support team workload and development.\nAssign projects to Project Coordinators and provide guidance throughout project execution.\nMonitor project progress to help ensure successful outcomes for customers and the branch.\n\nCoordinate Resources & Support OperationsCollaborate with Project Managers, Operations, and Branch Leadership to identify and resolve resource conflicts.\nHelp coordinate labor, equipment, and other resources across projects.\nSupport Project Managers by assigning Project Coordinators based on project needs and priorities.\n\nMonitor Project PerformanceReview the financial performance of projects supported by the Project Coordinator team.\nIdentify project risks and support problem resolution.\nProvide project status updates and reporting to Branch Leadership.\n\nQualifications\nRequired Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n5+ years of project management experience in construction, logistics, transportation, industrial services, or a related industry.\nExperience leading, mentoring, or developing team members.\nAbility to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nExperience working directly with customers and cross-functional operations teams.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\n\nPreferred Experience in crane & rigging, heavy haul transportation, heavy civil construction, or industrial contracting.\nKnowledge of project budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management.\nExperience coordinating labor, equipment, and other resources across multiple projects.\nFormal project management training or certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) preferred.\n\nBarnhart Offers\nCompetitive salary with a performance-based bonus program\n401(k) with company match up to 10%\nComprehensive benefits package including insurance and paid time off\nOpportunity to grow your career with a supportive and team-oriented culture\nPURPOSE - Barnhart is built on a strong foundation of serving others.
