The ideal candidate will work closely with regional leadership and branch managers to identify trends, coaching opportunities, and highlight top-performing team members.\nResponsibilities\n· Data Collection & Analysis:Regularly audit safety and quality data in IFS including Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), job tickets, and job observations.\nReview maintenance records to ensure alignment with safety and operational protocols.\nIdentify trends, coaching moments, and training opportunities through monthly data reviews.\n\n· Process Validation:Ensure monthly safety audits are completed across all branches.\nValidate completeness and accuracy of submitted documentation in IFS.\n\n· Reporting & Communication:Prepare monthly summary reports highlighting trends, opportunities for improvement, and success stories.\nCollaborate with branch managers during monthly safety meetings to review findings and recommendations.\n\n· Tools & Systems:Utilize IFS and Excel to extract and analyze data beyond standard reporting functions.\nCreate customized data presentations to support decision-making.\n\n· Site Safety Support:Serve as a standby/backup Safety Professional at the RPL site near Monroe, LA.\nEnsure compliance with all site-specific safety requirements and protocols.\nMaintain required certifications and training necessary for site access and safety oversight responsibilities.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nProven experience with safety program auditing or quality control in a field or branch-based environment.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data.\nProficiency in IFS and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data sorting/filtering, etc.).\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple levels of the organization.\nAbility to travel regionally up to 25% as business needs dictate.\nMust be physically located at a branch (no remote work).\nMust submit to a pre-employment fit for duty and drug screen evaluation.\nSafety & Certification Requirements\nCandidates must meet one of the following:Certified Safety Professional (CSP)\nAssociate Safety Professional (ASP)\nConstruction Health and Safety Technologist (CHST)\nOccupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST)\nGraduate or Chartered Member of IOSH\nSafety Trained Supervisor - Construction (STS-C)\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related field\n\nAdditional RequirementsOSHA 30-Hour Outreach for Construction (must be completed within 3 years; company can facilitate if needed).\nMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Professional in:Large construction projects, or\nHeavy industry environments\n\nCompensation and Benefits\nCompetitive pay\n401(k) program with company match up to 10% of pay\nFamily medical, dental and vision insurance available after 90 days\nPaid time off and other benefits\nBarnhart CARES family care and community service opportunities\nPURPOSE - Barnhart is built on a strong foundation of serving others.
