Operations:\nManage daily staffing levels, assign tasks, and balance workloads to meet operational requirements and service levels.\n\nEnsure warehouse compliance and operational integrity by enforcing access control and housekeeping standards, maintaining accurate record-keeping practices, and verifying timely and correct execution of system transactions (EWM and ERP) through routine monitoring and reporting.\n\nIdentify operational improvement opportunities and lead the development and implementation of enhanced processes and best practices.\n\nOversee the end-to-end material disposition process, including identifying redundant or obsolete materials, coordinating disposal activities, and ensuring physical removal in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.\n\nOversee core warehouse workflows, including receiving, picking, staging, loading, dispatch, and confirming execution aligns with operational standards\n\nEnsure shift structures, task rotations, and work allocation support operational flow, employee development, and safety standards.\n\nCoordinate work activities to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operational flow\n\nOversee end-to-end workflow stability across receiving, put-away, picking, staging, and dispatch to ensure performance targets are met.\n\nMonitor operational bottlenecks and delays and implement timely corrective actions.\n\nImplement structured shift routines, including briefs, debriefs, and exception management processes.\n\nConduct shift handovers, communicate priorities, and escalate issues as needed.\n\nManage attendance, scheduling, and shift coverage to ensure adequate staffing.\n\nMonitor operational performance against daily goals, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain productivity and service levels\n\nMaintain strong communication with internal customers to ensure operational needs are understood and met.\n\nMaintain strong customer relationships by proactively communicating risks, delays, and material shortages.\n\nTrack and close customer issues within agreed timelines, ensuring service recovery actions are implemented.\n\nCommunicate material shortages or delays proactively to stakeholders.\n\nWarehouse Supervision and Development:\nCommunicate job expectations clearly and hold employees accountable for meeting performance and service goals.\n\nSet clear performance, quality, and behavioral expectations for warehouse technicians and ensure consistent accountability across the team.\n\nConduct regular coaching, performance check-ins, and skills assessments to develop a high-performing warehouse team.\n\nDrive a culture of discipline, compliance, and continuous improvement within the warehouse workforce.\n\nDevelop team capabilities through coaching, training, and ongoing performance feedback.\n\nLead structured continuous improvement initiatives using lean, 5S, or RCA methodologies to enhance warehouse performance.\n\nWarehouse Operational Performance\nAnalyze operational trends and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring issues.\n\nDrive initiatives that optimize warehouse layout, reduce waste, and improve material flow efficiency.\n\nMeasure and report warehouse performance metrics, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.\n\nOptimize warehouse storage layout and slotting to improve space utilization, reduce handling time, and enhance overall material flow.\n\nEnsure high levels of internal customer satisfaction by overseeing timely receiving, picking, kitting, and dispatching activities.\n\nServe as the point of escalation for warehouse-related issues and resolve concerns promptly.\n\nMonitor and manage service-level performance indicators to ensure material turnaround times meet internal customer expectations.\n\nData, Systems and Reporting:\nOversee accurate and timely documentation of inventory transactions, ensuring warehouse systems and item records remain up to date.\n\nUse operational and ERP reports to monitor performance, analyze trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions.\n\nEnsure ERP/EWM transaction discipline by validating correct execution and coaching technicians on proper system use.\n\nLead root-cause analysis for stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve inventory integrity.\n\nIdentify and escalate master data issues such as duplicates, incorrect descriptions, or missing attributes.\n\nEnsure stock discrepancy investigations are completed within required turnaround times.\n\nSubmit cataloging or master data corrections as needed.\n\nManage the cycle counting process to ensure inventory accuracy, including scheduling and assigning counts, validating variances, investigating discrepancies, and approving adjustments in line with company policy\n\nPlan and direct full physical inventory (wall-to-wall stock takes) by coordinating counting teams, preparing required materials handling equipment, and ensuring accurate reconciliation of results\n\nSafety:\nEnsure full compliance with safety standards and company policies, including training staff, communicating safety expectations, and reviewing and addressing safety incidents promptly\n\nOversee proper handling, storage, and documentation of hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements\n\nEnsure all warehouse equipment (forklifts, loaders, pallet jacks) is inspected, maintained, and operated safely and in accordance with maintenance schedules\n\nLead toolbox talks and pre-shift safety meetings.\n\nLead proactive safety culture by reinforcing safety protocols, conducting hazard identification walks, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.\n\nEnsure warehouse technicians complete mandatory safety training and equipment operation certifications.\n\nConduct routine audits of hazardous materials storage, equipment condition, and compliance with regulatory standards.\n\nGeneral:\nPerform other duties or special assignments as required.\nQualifications:\nAssociate degree / bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Supply Chain Management preferred.\n\n4-6 years of experience in warehousing or materials handling (mining industry preferred).\n\nDemonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to direct and coordinate warehouse operations.\n\nReceiving or supply ch in experience preferred.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and barcoding preferred.\n\nAbility to input, retrieve, and analyze data accurately.\n\nValid driver’s license required; Forklift certification preferred.\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.\n\nStrong organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and follow verbal and written instructions.\n\nDemonstrated ability to perform essential job
