This involves diagnosing problems, ordering parts, and ensuring equipment is repaired promptly and effectively.\nSafety:\nEnsure that all safety procedures and regulations are followed by the crew during maintenance activities and equipment operation.\nA thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures for underground mining operations is required.\nRecord Keeping:\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and any issues that arise.\nCommunication:\nEffective communication with supervisors, engineers, and other departments is crucial for coordinating work and addressing any issues that arise.\nResource Management:\nManage budgets and equipment inventories and coordinate resources for maintenance and repair activities.\nTraining:\nTrain new hires and provide ongoing development to ensure the crew has the skills required to perform their duties effectively.\nTechnical Knowledge:\nA strong understanding of HME systems, mechanical principles, and troubleshooting techniques is essential.\nLeadership and Supervisory Skills:\nThe ability to effectively lead a team, motivate employees, and manage a workload is crucial.\nQualification Requirements:\nRecognized Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate.\n\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field will be advantageous.\n\nExperience and Skills Requirements:\nMinimum of 10 years' experience in underground mobile equipment maintenance within the mining industry, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.\n\nStrong knowledge of underground mining operations, safety standards, and maintenance systems such as SAP.\n\nProven experience maintaining OEM underground mobile equipment;
