The successful candidate will be responsible for responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules to support the successful execution of mining capital and operational projects. This role ensures schedule accuracy, identifies risks and opportunities, and provides clear, data-driven insights to project leaders and stakeholders. detailed project schedules using approved scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).\n\nTrack progress, update schedules, and analyze variances to ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables.\n\nWork closely with project managers, engineers, cost controllers, and contractors to collect and validate schedule data.\n\nConduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks, delays, and opportunities for optimization.\n\nPrepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc schedule reports with clear visuals, progress updates, and forecasts.\n\nSupport project controls processes including earned value management (EVM), progress measurement, and integrated planning.\n\nAssist in developing baseline schedules and change management documentation.\n\nEnsure scheduling standards, coding structures, and best practices are consistently applied across all projects.\n\nParticipate in project meetings, technical reviews, and risk assessments, providing schedule insights and recommendations.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field required\n\n3-7 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within mining, heavy industrial, or large-scale construction preferred\n\nProficiency in Primavera P6 required; experience with MS Project or other scheduling tools preferred\n\nStrong understanding of project management principles, project controls, and earned value methodologies preferred\n\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, project scopes, and construction sequences required\n\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills required\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams required\n\nDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in schedule development and reporting required\n\nExperience working on capital projects in open pit, underground, processing, or infrastructure environments preferred\n\nFamiliarity with cost control, budgeting, and risk management processes preferred\n\nAbility to manage multiple schedules across several active projects
