\n\nEnsure safe work practices by attending compulsory safety courses and meetings, use of required PPE, incident/accident reporting and ensuring total adherence to all Safety, Occupational Health, industrial control systems using root-cause problem-solving and critical thinking skills.\n\nPerform high voltage switching and operate generators in support of operations to standard Operation procedures.\n\nEffectively inspect tools, report findings and complete given tasks in a safe and timely manner.\n\nPerform equipment installation and repair; and ensure tools / appliances integrity.\n\nInstall, repair, and trace faults on HV Switch gears and protection relays.\n\n Perform HV electrical devices installation and wiring.\n\n Install, repair and trace faults on variable speed drives.\n\n Accurately install, maintain, repair and trace faults on three phase motor starters, protective devices,\n\nAccurately install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot fault on three phase motor starters.\n\nPerform transformer installation and maintenance effectively.\n\nEnsure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures for safe work, daily when performing Lock-Out, Tag-Out, Try-Out (LOTOTO)\n\nConduct scheduled equipment inspections on a daily, weekly, monthly and ensure identified defects are reported within the shift in accordance with the specific Standard Operating Procedure.\n\nEnsure compliance to Equipment Preventive Maintenance Schedule and duty performed effectively and accordingly daily.\n\n Respond to calls on breakdowns and give them priority and manage them as soon as possible.\n\nEnsure inspection of Measuring/ Testing Instruments is conducted daily prior to use, and Calibrations are performed to OEM schedule or when required.\n\nUse Interpret OEM Manuals for maintaining and repairing required equipment accurately and to OEM Specifications and avoid discrepancies.\n\n Ensure daily assigned Electrical tasks are implemented effectively and efficiently; and are completed to required standards.\n\nEnsure all required power tools and hand tools are inspected and maintained daily.\n\nEnsure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures for all Electrical Maintenance and Repair work conducted daily.\n\nEnsure all Equipment used is always kept safely and correctly.\n\nOptimizing cost by ensuring expenditure on electrical work is not exceeding the budget; support reduction of wastage and repair before replacing parts where possible.\n\nPerform safe operation, switching, isolation, and restoration of HV electrical systems.\n\nConduct preventive and corrective maintenance on HV equipment.\n\nInspect and maintain substations, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and associated equipment.\n\nDiagnose and rectify electrical faults in plant and HV distribution systems.\n\nCarry out switching according to approved switching procedures and electrical safety requirements.\n\nSupport planned shutdowns, commissioning, testing, and energization of electrical equipment.\n\nMaintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and switching records.\n\nEnsure all work is performed in accordance with approved safety procedures and manufacturer recommendations.\n\nParticipate in electrical emergency response and troubleshooting activities.\n\nWork closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure isolation, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work systems.\n\nTransformer operation, inspection, and maintenance.\n\nProtection systems, relays, and electrical control circuits eg SEPAM relays, SEL \n\nHV cable systems, termination, testing, and fault finding.\n\nBusbars, isolators/disconnectors, earthing switches, and circuit breaker.\n\nElectrical fault finding, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance.\n\nPreventive and predictive maintenance of HV equipment.\n\nInspection and maintenance of substations and switch rooms.\n\nElectrical testing and commissioning activities.\n\nEmergency
