We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities.\nResponsibilities:\nExcellent and demonstrated personal commitment to health, safety, and training.\nFacilitate new miner, experienced miner, hazard, site and task specific training courses as needed.\nCollaboratively engage with several key stakeholders to reach objectives.\nCollaborate with organizational subject matter experts to solve a range of complex problems and develop feasible and sustainable solutions.\nWork to accomplish job tasks with minimal supervision while receiving a moderate level of guidance and direction.\nLead the alignment and facilitation of new hire (new miner/experienced miner), Fatal Risk, NGM Train the Trainer, hazard, site, and task specific training courses as needed.\nExcellent training record management in accordance with MSHA and OSHA regulations.\nMaintain site compliance to ensure that employees have the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitude to perform their assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound manner. \nConduct observations and employee engagements in collaboration with the operating departments.\nStrive for continuous improvement, alignment, and management of organizational systems and programs.\nContinuously seek out learning opportunities to develop and strengthen skill sets. \nPerform other duties as assigned.\nLead the implementation of a Competency Based Training program that ensures information is delivered in a manner that employees will retain.\nLead the management of a Learning Management System (LMS) to maintain legal obligations, meet competency-based training expectations, and optimize efficiencies.\nLead the alignment, planning and scheduling of Annual Refresher Training for all NGM employees.\nMaintain document control and management in accordance with ISO and company expectations.\nDevelop teaching outlines and determine instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, meetings, and workshops to meet company needs.\nAct as a resource and mentor for site trainers and able to lead the training team in place of the supervisor for short periods.\nAssist in the standardization of NGM standards, procedures, and planned task observations.\nAudit and review training courses, materials, and programs for continuous improvement.\nParticipate in alignment of site initiatives or operational excellence opportunities.\nQualifications:\nMSHA Instructor Certification (blue card) required\nFive (5) years of experience in mining, construction or heavy equipment industry required\nThorough knowledge of MSHA, State, OSHA and ATF regulations required\nProven experience in working with peer groups and focus teamsrequired\nProven attention to detail with a high level of accuracy required\nAbility to drive results and ensure completion of time sensitive deadlines required\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills required\nExcellent leadership skills and knowledge of influencing othersrequired\nAbility to promote safety in training and lead by examplerequired\nCompetent computer skills including Microsoft Office;
