This is an early career role for a quantitatively strong analyst with a background in mathematics and data science who can turn raw data into clear, decision ready insight. The Data Analytics Developer will build and improve Business Intelligence dashboards, automate manual reporting workflows using Python and data preparation tools, and present findings to stakeholders and leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong statistical and analytical fundamentals, proven experience converting and validating analytical workflows, and the communication skills to explain results to technical and non-technical audiences alike.\nResponsibilities\nThe Data Analytics Developer will:\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance BI dashboards and reports that visualize operational and business trends, including filtering and drill-through functionality that lets decisionmakers explore data at multiple levels.\nQuery and extract data from SQL database tables and other enterprise sources to fulfill business requests.\nCreate recurring and ad-hoc reports within required timeframes using SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Python; analyze and validate data to ensure the accuracy and integrity of critical business information.\nAutomate manual and repetitive reporting processes using Python (Jupyter), Alteryx, or similar tools, documenting logic and code thoroughly for long-term maintainability.\nMigrate or re-engineer existing analytical workflows and queries to more efficient platforms, validating results against legacy outputs to ensure consistency.\nProvide quantitative and statistical analysis, trending, and metrics for key strategic initiatives to measure the potential impact of new projects.\nAnalyze data correlations, discrepancies, and reconciliations and communicate the related impact to the business.\nSynthesize business intelligence and trend data into clear recommendations for action.\nPresent findings, process improvements, and recommendations to peers, program leadership, and internal stakeholders.\nPartner with internal teams to streamline and standardize existing reports and find ways to work more efficiently.\nBuild reporting tools that help operational users carry out day-to-day responsibilities.\nTrack and document post implementation benefits and key objective measures.\nOrganize data sources and ensure data integrity and relevancy.\nPartner with Program, Operations, and Engineering teams to gather requirements, solve problems, and identify trends and opportunities.\nPerform all other assigned duties.\nQualifications\nRequired Education/Experience/Skills:\nBS or BA degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field or anticipated degree by December 2026, from an accredited college or university.\nHands-on experience designing and building data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Sisense, or similar tools.\nWorking knowledge of Python for data analysis (pandas, Jupyter Notebook, or similar).\nStrong foundation in numerical, statistical, and mathematical analysis.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.\nDetail oriented; places a high value on accuracy, consistency, and completeness of work, including validating analytical results.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks at once.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting analytical findings to leadership and stakeholders.\nProven logical and analytical problem-solving abilities.\nSelf-starter, results oriented, and comfortable working independently and on cross-functional teams.\nPreferences:\nInternship or professional experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role.\nExperience with Alteryx or other data preparation and ETL tools.\nExperience converting, automating, or re-engineering analytical workflows.\nExperience with SQL and relational databases (MS SQL Server preferred) for querying and data manipulation.\nAdvanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros, VBA, Charts and Graphs).\nFamiliarity with MS SSRS, Sisense, or Salesforce reporting.\nCoursework or experience in physics, engineering, or other technical disciplines relevant to aerospace programs.\nDemonstrated leadership experience (student organizations, team leadership, or similar).\nStrong inductive reasoning skills: the ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions, including finding relationships among seemingly unrelated events.\nEssential Requirements\nMust be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.\nApplicant selected may be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.\nWork may involve sitting for extended periods.\nMay require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.\nMust have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.\nGenerally, an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.\nStandard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)\nRegular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.\nAbility to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.\nMust be able to work in a team atmosphere.\nMust put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.\nGrooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.\nThis position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.\nDon’t miss out on this great opportunity;
