If you have an eagle eye for detail, a passion for learning, and the drive to improve systems without waiting for instruction, you will thrive in this role\nResponsibilities\nThe Receiving Inspection Quality Technician will:\nDeveloping and maintaining company inspection reports\nInspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards across all stages of production\nEnsuring company tools and equipment are calibrated and working correctly\nReporting quality anomalies to the supervisor\nCollating test data and drafting quality reports\nIdentifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes and implement new methods accordingly\nComply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas\nUrgently communicate quality, safety, or compliance concerns\nCommunicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership\nImplementing and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle\nPerform additional job duties as assigned\nQualifications\nRequired Education/Experience/Skills:\nHigh School diploma or GED, plus fifteen (15) years of inspection experience\nUnderstanding of advanced mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions\nTrack record of delivering outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments\nUses good judgement to problem-solve proactively, positively impacting hard challenges\nProven to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines\nAdvance Experience with Quality Inspection Tools\nExecutes priorities with precision and pace\nHigh EQ and ability to collaborate within teams and cross-functionally\nTech-savvy in using systems and tools to move faster and smarter\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings\nExemplifies resourceful, adaptable behavior\nPreferences:\nPrevious Aerospace experience\nGD&T experience\nExperience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)\nEssential Requirements\nMust be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.\nApplicant selected may be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.\nWork may involve sitting for extended periods.\nMay require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.\nMust have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.\nGenerally, an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.\nStandard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)\nRegular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.\nAbility to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.\nMust be able to work in a team atmosphere.\nMust put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.\nGrooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.\nThis position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.\nDon’t miss out on this great opportunity; for immediate consideration, apply now!\nBarrios Technology is a drug-free workplace, which is imperative to the health and safety of all employees and is required as a condition of receiving contracts from federal agencies.
