Currently there is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Project Scheduler III to join the team with Barrios, a teammate company.\nResponsibilities\nThe Technical Project Scheduler III will:\nSupport a highly skilled project team directly contributing to Human Spaceflight and Exploration.\nCoordinate with technical leads and project management personnel to develop and maintain technical schedules.\nConduct schedule analysis and assessments to ensure schedules are structured properly with complete network logic that are capable of reporting critical path(s).\nProvide guidance and recommendations on schedule workarounds and recovery plans that enable effective decision making.\nPerform Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) and provide guidance and recommendations to NASA management.\nTrack schedule progress and develop custom reports/metrics.\nAttend key project meetings, reviews, and present schedule status/metrics.\nConduct cost and schedule integration, ensuring budget and resource requirements for programs/projects are achievable.\nAssess the impacts resulting from changes to project cost, schedule, or technical baselines.\nPerform other duties as required.\nQualifications\nRequired Education/Experience/Skills:\nBS/BA degree from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years of applicable experience.\nExcellent communication skills (in both written and verbal) and the ability to interface with various customers.\nDemonstrated ability to work well in a team and independently on a dynamic development program.\nExcellent data gathering, attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking skills.\nMust be a self-starter, highly motivated and able to take initiative in completing tasks with minimal management direction.\nProficient in MS Office and scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project)\nAdvanced MS Excel understanding\nAbility to understand technical concepts and designs and relate them to schedule inputs and impacts.\nAbility to create and analyze integrated master schedules (IMS)\nPreferences:\nA degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) from an accredited college or university.\nExperience with Tableau, Structured Solutions, Inc. (SSI) Tools, and ASIT.\nPrior experience developing resource loaded schedules.\nPMI-SP Certification or equivalent.\nSchedule analytics experience.\nExperience with very large, complex project schedules.\nExperience working in Human Space Flight programs.\nEssential Requirements\nMust be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.\nApplicant selected may be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.\nWork may involve sitting for extended periods.\nMay require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.\nMust have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.\nGenerally, an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.\nStandard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)\nRegular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.\nAbility to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.\nMust be able to work in a team atmosphere.\nMust put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.\nGrooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.\nThis position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.\nDon’t miss out on this great opportunity; for immediate consideration, apply now!\nBarrios Technology is a drug-free workplace, which is imperative to the health and safety of all employees and is required as a condition of receiving contracts from federal agencies.
