The successful candidate will lead cross-functional project teams, drive delivery excellence, and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations across the full project life-cycle. This role requires strong communication skills, proven experience guiding multidisciplinary teams, and a solid background in Agile methodologies and modern project management practices.\nResponsibilities\nThe Project Manager will:\nLead and coordinate cross-functional teams-design, Developers, QA, Product Owners, and stakeholders-to ensure project objectives, timelines, and deliverables are met.\nDevelop, track, and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project (Primavera experience is highly transferable).\nFacilitate Agile ceremonies, track delivery metrics, and ensure adherence to Scrum or hybrid project methodologies.\nCollaborate with Product Owners to refine requirements, develop user stories, and align deliverables with business objectives.\nCreate, manage, and update workflows, wire-frames and other documentation as needed.\nIdentify, track, and mitigate project risks; escalate issues promptly and propose actionable mitigation plans.\nManage project scope and change processes to ensure controlled, transparent evolution of deliverables.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nProvide clear, concise communications to team members, executive leadership, and external stakeholders.\nPrepare status reports, dashboards, and project summaries in accordance with NASA standards.\nQualifications\nRequired Education/Experience/Skills:\nA BS/BA degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Science, Business, Logistics, or a related field, plus ten (10) years of experience.\nPMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification.\nAgile certification (CSM, PMI ACP, SAFe) or strong demonstrated Agile experience.\nExperience with multidisciplinary engineering or software development teams.\nPreferences:\nExperience supporting NASA, DoD, or other federal programs.\nProficiency with MS Project or similar scheduling tools.\nStrong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.\nDemonstrated ability to define scope, manage requirements, and develop well-structured user stories.\nHands-on experience with Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum or Kanban).\nExceptional communication skills, capable of interacting with all levels of management and technical/non-technical stakeholders.\nDemonstrated experience in requirements development and user story creation.\nStrong background in scope management, risk mitigation, and structured project delivery.\nAbility to produce or collaborate on Visio workflows, wireframes, or process visuals.\nEssential Requirements\nMust be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.\nApplicant selected may be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.\nWork may involve sitting for extended periods.\nMay require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.\nMust have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.\nGenerally, an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.\nStandard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)\nRegular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.\nAbility to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.\nMust be able to work in a team atmosphere.\nMust put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.\nGrooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.\nThis position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.\nDon’t miss out on this great opportunity; for immediate consideration, apply now!\nBarrios Technology is a drug-free workplace, which is imperative to the health and safety of all employees and is required as a condition of receiving contracts from federal agencies.
