Barrios prides itself on a people-focused culture that values creativity, diversity, professional growth, and a healthy work-life balance.\nWe are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Administrator/Developer to support NASA’s Flight Operations Directorate (FOD) and associated IT services, including mission-enabling applications built and hosted on the NASA FIT ServiceNow environment. The ideal candidate will configure, maintain, and extend ServiceNow applications that enable change management, incident/problem tracking, workflow automation, and custom modules in support of NASA’s operational needs.\nResponsibilities\nThe ServiceNow Administrator/Develope r will:\nAdminister and configure the NASA FIT ServiceNow environment, including modules such as Incident, Change, Problem, Request, CMDB, and custom applications.\nDesign and develop new ServiceNow applications, forms, workflows, integrations, and automation scripts.\nSupport and enhance existing ServiceNow tools used by FOD and FIT teams (e.g., FIT SERVICENOW, ServiceNow FOD HITL Personnel Request)\nCollaborate with NASA stakeholders, developers, systems engineers, and process owners to translate operational requirements into technical solutions.\nEnsure security compliance (PIV/Smartcard, NCAD, SAML/Kerberos integration).\nPerform routine maintenance, system upgrades, plugin activation, and instance health monitoring.\nTroubleshoot and resolve platform issues and provide end-user support.\nMaintain documentation, test plans, configuration records, and change control submissions.\nQualifications\nRequired Education/Experience/Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or related technical field from an accredited institution, plus three (3) to five (5) years of ServiceNow administration and development experience.\n\nProficiency with:ServiceNow Studio & Scoped Applications\nFlow Designer & Workflow Editor\nScripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs)\nREST integrations\n\nExperience with ITSM, ITIL processes.\nStrong understanding of Agile development principles and experience working on Scrum teams.\nAbility to obtain and maintain NASA network access (NCAD) and complete NAMS requests.\nStrong communication and documentation skills.\nPreferences:\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).\nServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).\nKnowledge of NASA FIT ServiceNow environment or similar enterprise deployments.\nEssential Requirements\nMust be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.\nApplicant selected may be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.\nWork may involve sitting for extended periods.\nMay require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.\nMust have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.\nGenerally, an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.\nStandard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)\nRegular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.\nAbility to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.\nMust be able to work in a team atmosphere.\nMust put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.\nGrooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.\nThis position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.\nDon’t miss out on this great opportunity; for immediate consideration, apply now!\nBarrios Technology is a drug-free workplace, which is imperative to the health and safety of all employees and is required as a condition of receiving contracts from federal agencies.
