The successful candidate will be responsible for leading event teams, coordinating event activities and ensuring that all events are executed professionally, efficiently and to the required standard.\nThis is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong leadership skills and thrives on delivering exceptional event experiences.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead, coordinate and supervise event teams on-site.\nEnsure events are set up, executed and broken down according to required standards and timelines.\nAllocate tasks and responsibilities to team members and monitor performance.\nAct as the key point of contact for the event team and clients during events.\nEnsure that all event staff are properly briefed before each event.\nMonitor staff attendance, punctuality, appearance and conduct.\nEnsure event equipment, branding and promotional materials are handled and maintained correctly.\nCoordinate the loading, transportation, setup and breakdown of event equipment where required.\nResolve on-site challenges and escalate issues when necessary.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements and client expectations.\nComplete event checklists, reports and other required administration.\nProvide feedback on event execution, team performance and any challenges experienced.\nAssist with training and mentoring new event team members.\nWork closely with the Events/Operations team to ensure successful delivery of events.\nBe willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.\nRequirements\nMatric / Grade 12.\nPrevious experience in events, activations, promotions, hospitality, retail or a similar environment.\nPrevious team leadership or supervisory experience will be advantageous.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nStrong organisational and time-management abilities.\nAbility to lead and motivate a team.\nAbility to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure.\nReliable, punctual and professional.\nStrong attention to detail.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.\nA valid driver's licence will be advantageous.\nWillingness to travel and work flexible hours as required by events.\nKey
