Sitting at the intersection of strategyand operations, this role identifies opportunities, shapes decisions, and turns insights into measurable business impact. It’s an ideal fit for early-career talent who enjoys solving complex business problems, influencing outcomes, and building a strong foundation for long-term growth.\nWhy This Role Is Exciting\nWork on high-visibility priorities that directly influence growth, profitability, and customer experience.\n\nPartner with leaders across functions to solve meaningful business challenges.\n\nUse analytics to drive decisions and actions, not just report results.\n\nBuild a strong platform for career advancement within BW Packaging.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nStrategic Growth\nIdentify growth opportunities across product lines, customer segments, and regions through structured analysis.\n\nPartner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute proactive selling strategies.\n\nBuild competitive intelligence on aftermarket resellers, including pricing models, customer targeting, and market positioning.\n\nIdentify high-impact campaigns to regain share and optimize volume.\n\nData Integrity\nEnsure accuracy of data used across the BW Packaging parts ecosystem to support correct performance metrics and incentive outcomes.\n\nDevelop and implement SOPs for aftermarket processes to drive consistency and best practices across the business.\n\nInventory & Demand Optimization\nAnalyze inventory performance-including slow-moving and excess stock-and recommend strategies to optimize working capital.\n\nPartner with supply chain and procurement teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts and installed base needs.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n0-5 years of relevant experience, including internship experience in analytics, business, supply chain, or related fields.\n\nBachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.\n\nProficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).\n\nPassion for leveraging new approaches-including AI-to develop solutions.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n\nPreferred Skills\nKnowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.\n\nExperience with ERP systems and data governance processes.\n\nExperience in aftermarket parts or manufacturing environments.\n\nUnderstanding of pricing strategy, margin analysis, and value optimization.\n\nWork Environment & Travel\nPrimarily in-office role based in St. Louis, MO.\n\nCandidates must be local to St. Louis, MO.\n\nTravel requirements are up to 25%, depending on business needs.\n\nAt Barry-Wehmiller we recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
