The role involves developing plumbing and drainage system designs, BIM modeling, and coordination for projects such as semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biotech, and manufacturing facilities.\nEducation\nDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Equivalent degree\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain Revit MEP models for plumbing systems\n\nDesign and prepare layouts for: Domestic water systems (cold & hot water) Sanitary and wastewater systems Stormwater drainage systems Industrial/process drainage systems\n\nPrepare detailed drawings, schematics, and isometrics\n\nCoordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines\n\nPerform routing, sizing support, and clash detection using BIM tools\n\nAssist in equipment selection (pumps, tanks, fixtures, etc.)\n\nSupport specifications and design documentation\n\nParticipate in design coordination and review meetings\n\nRequirements\n4-8 years of experience in plumbing design for industrial/building projects.\n\nStrong experience in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.\n\nKnowledge of: Plumbing systems (domestic water, drainage, venting) Industrial facility requirements (pharma, semiconductor, etc.)\n\nFamiliarity with codes and standards (IPC, UPC, local US codes).\n\nExperience in BIM coordination and clash detection (Navisworks preferred).\n\nAbility to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.\n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with cleanroom and process facility plumbing systems.\n\nKnowledge of acid waste, RO/DI, and specialty piping systems.\n\nExposure to US or international project standards.\n\nKey Competencies\nGood communication and coordination skills.\n\nStrong attention to detail.\n\nAbility to manage multiple deliverables and deadline.\n\n#LI-SE1\nAt Barry-Wehmiller we recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
