Helping the team provide an Exceptional Customer Experience by achieving our Operational Excellence goals, driving continuous improvement, promoting good teamwork, and acting in line with the company’s policies and values.\nResponsibilities\nComply with the Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1974, current legislation and BWIS company policies & procedures\nAssembly / wire control panel back plates, mount electrical field wiring components, cable management to Customer Specification & BW Packaging Standards.\nRead and interpret electrical wiring and schematic diagrams, bills of material and specifications.\nPerform Earth, Rotation, I/O checks on control panel & machine wiring/ fault finding prior to handover to Controls Engineer.\nSign off worksheet, to confirm quality checks have been completed.\nAssist with the electrical maintenance of our facility.\nOffer guidance and support to electrical contractors when required.\nProviding training, guidance, and support to apprentices and other members of the assembly team to increase their skills and knowledge base.\nSupport the integration of new product lines being adopted by BW Packaging.\nClean and organise all equipment and work areas, ensuring they are always free from hazards and customer ready.\nBe available & have flexibility to work overtime on evenings and weekends if or when it is required.\nAttend training courses to support your duties and development.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE\n3+ years’ experience as an electrician, preferably in an Engineering background.\nEducation in a relevant engineering discipline, Advanced NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Apprenticeship\nExcellent interpersonal and time management skills\nBasic computer skills in Excel and Word.\nA self-starter with a ‘can do’ flexible attitude.\nAbility to work as an individual or as part of a team.\nDrive and determination to succeed.\nTHE COMPANY\nBW Packaging is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of end-of-line packaging equipment solutions and packaging automation, as well as systems integration.
