In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.\nWhat You’ll Do\nYou'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.\nDesign low voltage power distribution systems\nCreate grounding designs and perform site analysis\nDesign lighting for outdoor and interior spaces\nPerform duct bank modeling and heating analysis\nPerform generator studies and sizing, including controls and loading analysis\nCoordinate with civil and site designers for underground and overhead distribution equipment design\nCreate 3-line drawings for power distribution systems\nPerform Load calculations and cable selections based upon application and design standards\nObserve, assess, and document site installation systems and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements\nWrite progress reports and present them to project managers and clients\nCollaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors on new construction and renovation projects\nReview electrical design specifications and drawings\nDesign low voltage electrical distribution systems, switchboards, MCCs, generators, transformers, and UPSs\nReview construction cost estimates and budgets\nWork on multiple projects simultaneously\nMake an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team\nWhat You’ll Bring\nA passion for learning and growing engineering skills in medium and low voltage power distribution design\nExperience in low or medium voltage power design, easy power, load flow analysis, and electrical engineering drawings in a manufacturing environment (preferred)\nFamiliarity with Rural Utility Standards (RUS), IEEE Standards, and the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC)\nProficiency in Revit, PowerTools SKM, ETAP, and EasyPower software systems\nExcellent communication skills including the ability to effectively coordinate with engineers, architects, managers, clients, and contractors\nExperience working on multi-disciplinary large capital projects (preferred)\nFamiliarity with facilities document control systems (preferred)\nExperience reviewing and updating electrical system models (preferred)\nFamiliarity with construction processes and documents\nProficiency with written and verbal technical communication, including generating reports and conducting group presentations\nA willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions\nA bachelor of science in electrical engineering (required)\nA professional engineer (PE) license (preferred)\nAn Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification\nOur culture and commitment to our people is what sets us apart.
