By blending people-centric leadership with disciplined operational strategies and purpose-driven growth, Barry-Wehmiller has become a $3 billion organization with nearly 12,000 team members united by a common belief: to use the power of business to build a better world.Job Description:\nPerform Electrical design, technical analysis and/or resolution of engineering problems with consideration of manufacturing feasibility, cost, and operation\nEssential Functions:\nDesign/alteration of complex electrical equipment\nTest and debug complex equipment to isolate defects\nPrepare layouts using CAD tools\nEvaluation of complex designs; make engineering changes\nEvaluate new parts\nPrepares schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings and bills of material (BOM) for complex equipment\nSupport manufacturing/assembly teams\nManage and maintain project file\nMay travel to customer site and support field teams with technical assistance as required\nMay assist with leading, mentoring or coaching less experienced team members\nOther duties as assigned\nJob Specifications:\nMust be able to perform all level 2 duties competently\nAbility to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical assembly layouts\nComprehensive knowledge of CAD and engineering systems\nStrong logical and reasoning abilities\nProblem-solving ability\nComprehensive knowledge of manufacturing methods; electrical design and project management\nVerbal and written communication skills\nAbility to work in customer’s facility and manage that relationship\nRequired Education and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering\nTypically has 4 plus years of experience in electrical engineering\nCompensation range:\nThe approximate pay range for this position is $88,000-$110,000 annually.
